How It Works
All you need is a driver, a 3-wood or 7-iron, and a pitching wedge. The rest? You make up as you go.

Each player calls the next hole — "go through those two trees, bounce off the bench, land past the path." Every round is one-of-a-kind.
Any concrete — a cart path, a walkway, the edge of a lot — plays as a water hazard. Keep your ball on the grass or take the penalty. It turns every shot into a real decision.

Take the ParkBall to an actual par-3 course and swing your driver. Same rules — but leave the flag in. Hit the flagstick and you're holed out. A real green, a whole new challenge.
Every disc golf course is already laid out and free. Aim for the basket — hit the target or land within a club-length of the post and you're in. Strike it clean from distance and it's a −1.
"Go between those two trees, hit the bench on the right, finish inside the soccer goal across the field." Your friend calls it. Now you've got to hit it. That's the game.
No setup. No targets to place. Walk to the park, look around, and call the first hole. The trees, benches, paths, and hills are already your hazards and landmarks.

Know the Game
Park Ball Golf scores by the hole, not one long stroke count — so every hole matters and everyone stays in it right to the end. You and your friends decide how many holes to play. Here's everything you need before your first shot.
Every hole is worth points — not one giant scorecard. Take a hole outright (lowest strokes) and earn 2 points. Tie for the low score and everyone tied gets 1 point. Most points after the round wins. It keeps every hole exciting, even for the kids.
A quick mini-game decides who builds the first hole. Then players take turns creating holes. Lowest score on a hole tees off first on the next.
Any concrete you bounce, roll, or land on costs a one-stroke penalty. If your ball stops on it, place it on the nearest grass — never closer to the hole.
Don't move, break, or bend anything fixed or growing — except to take your stance or swing. The ball is played where it rests.
The ball farthest from the hole hits first, and keeps hitting until it's closer than an opponent's. Within 10 feet, you can move a ball that's in the way — just put it back.
Get your ball within one driver-length of the target and it's in. Lay your club down to check — it's the measuring stick that's always in your hand. Generous on purpose, so nobody argues.
Hit the hole's target clean out of the air — from anywhere beyond one driver-length away — and take a stroke off that hole. It doesn't matter how far out you are: nail it on the fly and it's −1. This is the big swing that lets anyone steal a hole, so go for it.
Tied at the top after the final hole? Everyone plays one more — not just the leaders. The whole group tees off, so even someone sitting in third can win the playoff hole and steal the round. Sudden death, everybody swings.

Here's the engineering: we started with the weight of a real golf ball — about 45 grams — then made the ball bigger (2.68 inches across instead of 1.68) and changed the material. Same weight, far more air resistance. The result is a ball that travels roughly 66% less distance.
